Rivencliff is gay furry romance visual novel. The story is about Buru, a compassionate bull with healing powers, who has found his place in the peaceful village nestled within a lush valley.
The village, a melting pot of cultures and customs, is where he honed his abilities and forged his deep connections with the community. However, the end of his relationship with Taro, his first boyfriend, has left Buru heartbroken and questioning the true nature of love.
In this short story "Sunbath", Buru meets Lunjy, one of the barkeepers of the tavern, after he invited Buru to meet him at a secret spot he has in the forest, where Buru and Lunjy get to know each other better and explore all "secret spots" Lunjy has to offer.
The game offers multiple dialogue choices from time to time and is estimated to take 15-20 minutes to complete.
Controls
Enter - Advances dialogue and activates the interface
Space - Advances dialogue without selecting choices.
Numbers 1-9 - Makes a selection when a dialogue choice appears. (Numpad is unfortunately not supported)
Arrow Keys - Navigate the Interface
Escape - Accesses the game menu.
Ctrl - Skips dialogue while held down.
Tab - Toggles dialogue skipping.
Page Up / Mousewheel Up - Rolls back to earlier dialogue.
Page Down / Mousewheel Down - Rolls forward to later dialogue.
S - Takes a screenshot.
V - Toggles assistive self-voicing.
Shift + A - Opens the accessibility menu.

downloaded the game and it looks really cool and the story seems really interesting, but it keeps crashing in the "move closer" log choice. And i can't move foward, i've stuck there for some time now.
Hey there! I am sorry to hear that it crashes for you! Could you please tell me which platform this happens on and do you get a crash message?
I downloaded in the itch pc app, and i don't get any crash messages, it just freezes and stops working. The first time, my pc mencioned a "plugin has stopped working" but that message stopped apearing. Now the game always freezes whenever i try to load any save, and new games always freezes on the log.
I am unable to replicate the issue. Can you please tell me on which operating system / device (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android) this happens?

This game is complete and will not receive more content. There will be a new game, but I do not know when it will be finished yet. :)

Be interested in playing this, but theres some error with having a combined file in ZIP for MAC users. The file wont open for some reason, happens with combined files with games with this download type.

It now works! thanks for uploading them separately. I think its an apple software that stops the zip file working. But i think it just the MAC that has the problem.

surprisingly fun and well made
in future it migghhhhtttt work to have a 2d artist trace over and tweak the images of the character models so it looks less awkward at points with the lighting engine
Thank you for your feedback! In a future update I am going to add a "classic" mode which implements art for the game in a more traditional pipeline, with BG and Characters seperated.
This allows for other ways of rendering characters which already looks a bit nicer and leaves more headroom for polishing, as I would not have to polish 110+ images for a short game like this.
